100 / 250 / 500 Mile Challenge

This challenge can be completed SOLO or with a TEAM and it begins September 1st!

 

You can RUN, WALK, or HIKE this challenge and you'll have until October 27th to complete the challenge.

SOLO CHALLENGER: You must complete the miles entirely on your own between Sept 1st and Oct 27th.

 

TEAM CHALLENGER: You can have a team of up to 4 people and your miles will be COMBINED to complete the goal. Teams must complete the challenge between Sept 1st and October 27th. Each team member will receive their own Medal and Goods in the mail!

 

CHALLENGE MILE BREAKDOWN:

100 miles = 1.78 miles per day on average

250 miles = 4.46 miles per day on average

500 miles = 8.92 miles per day on average

100 MILE CHALLENGE

By choosing this challenge, you or your team will run, walk or hike 100 miles in 8 weeks (56 days) or less. That's 1.78 miles per day on average. Miles don't count towards your 100 mile goal until September 1, 2020. No retroactive mileage allowed. You'll register for the challenge and log your miles through RunSignUp, which will track your progress throughout your challenge journey. The leaderboard will be based on distance completed, not pace. This challenge is great for all ages and abilities...beginners to advanced runners and walkers.

250 MILE CHALLENGE

By choosing this challenge, you or your team will run or walk 250 miles in 8 weeks (56 days) or less. That's 4.46 miles per day on average. Miles don't count towards your 250 mile goal until September 1st. No retroactive mileage allowed. You'll register for the challenge and log your miles through RunSignUp, which will track your progress throughout your challenge journey. The leaderboard will be based on distance completed, not pace.  This challenge is great for intermediate to advanced runners and walkers or TEAMS! Missing 1 day, means completing 9 miles the next day. 

500 MILE CHALLENGE

By choosing this challenge, you or your team will run or walk 500 miles in 8 weeks (56 days) or less. That's 8.92 miles per day on average. Miles don't count towards your 500 mile goal until September 1st. No retroactive mileage allowed. You'll register for the challenge and log your miles through RunSignUp, which will track your progress throughout your challenge journey. The leaderboard will be based on distance completed, not pace. This challenge is great for advanced runners and walkers or TEAMS! Missing 1 day, means completing 18 miles the next day. 


RACE SPECIFICS:
REGISTRATION:

Registration will be open August 10th until we sell out. This Challenge is limited to 1000 participants.

 

TEAMS:

All team members MUST register for the SAME event (100, 250 or 500 miles)! Teams (max of 4 people) will have COMBINED mileage! You will log your miles separately and they will show up in the individual results AND as your combined team results. Your combined team results is what counts! Teams can physically run, walk or hike the miles together or separately. Many teams live in the same household OR in different states, either one is fine.

 

HOW TO REGISTER AS A TEAM:

On the registration form, select the 100, 250 or 500 Mile Challenge TEAM event option. Team members can register separately! The team member that registers FIRST will create and name the Team! The other members will just join that Team when they register. There is a max of 4 people per Team.  

TEAM RULES:

  • All team members must register for the same event (100, 250 or 500 miles).

  • Your team's miles are combined! If your team chose the 500 mile challenge, then you will all run, walk or hike until you reach 500 miles collectively. 

  • Teams can only consist of 2-4 people. 

  • Each team member will receive their own package in the mail. Each member will get their own medal and swag mailed to them.

  • Each team member needs to be registered in the system. You can register separately or together, but we need each team member's information and to sign the waiver.

  • If a team member drops out, you may replace that team member with another person BEFORE Oct 1st.

  • All team members will log their miles through their own registration account and your results will be displayed individually AND as a team!! You will be able to see how you are doing individually against all the other challengers as well as how your team is doing against all the other challenger teams!

  • Your team has 8 weeks (between Sept 1st and Oct 27th) to complete the challenge. 


SHIPPING:

FREE shipping for USA orders. Once your package is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Packages will begin to ship the first or second week of October.

TRACKING/RESULTS:

For tracking your distance and time, you can use whatever app or system that works best for you (Garmin, MapMyRun, Strava, etc). Once you register, you'll be able to MANUALLY log all of your miles through your RunSignUp account until you complete the challenge. We'll track your progress and you can see how all the other participants are doing as well. Leaderboard will be based on distance, not pace! This is about endurance, not speed. To keep it flexible for all of the participants, we are not requiring you to sync or upload your .FIT or GPX files! Your mileage entries will be manual and you can use whatever tracking or fitness app you'd like.
